Monday 31 March 2014
News from other organisations

The Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM) has been involved in developing a Child Rights Manifesto with other child rights organisations (see the list here).

This Manifesto calls for candidate MEPs to make a commitment to strengthening the protection of children’s rights in the next European Parliament and talks about non-discrimination on the basis of migration status. It can be used as an advocacy tool to push for MEPs to improve the protection of all migrant children, regardless of their or their parent’s migration/residence status, if they are elected.

You can find the text of the Manifesto and the MEPs/ Candidate MEPs that have signed up so far on the website.

It is available in several EU languages.
